Santa Clara husband and wife team Dorothy and Paul Gutierrez were among the first at the pueblo to create Nativity sets.  Dorthy forms the figures and Paul does the polishing and finishing work.  Each face has a different expression and the average size is approximately 2" to 2.25" .  Paul is the grandson of the famous potters Lela and Van Gutierrez and Dorothy is of Navajo decent.  Together they have won many awards and are in many prominent collections worldwide. one shepard has broken arm that was repaired.
